Supreme K9 Dog Training & Advocacy‘s Founder and Principal Trainer, Otto Monchez, has worked with dogs. He was renowned as a dog caretaker in the building his parents ran when he was a kid in California. Rusty, his first dog, was given to him when he was eight. Rusty encouraged Otto to become a veterinarian, but circumstances prevented him from doing so. Instead, Otto and his family moved to New Jersey when he was 14 years old and lived there.
When Rusty became terminally sick with cancer at the age of 22, Otto had to make the most difficult choice in his life. Due to the loss of his childhood buddy, Otto was distraught and depressed. Soon after, his family decided to get him a new friend for his birthday: Oakley, a Siberian Husky. Oakley was a handful, which prompted Otto to enroll in training lessons with him. After the first lesson, when he observed the relationship he had formed with Oakley via training, Otto discovered his vocation for a career as a professional dog trainer.
Otto obtained his accreditation as a trainer from Animal Behavior College (ABC-DT), spent five years mentoring under a trainer, and has attended seminars and apprentice programs from world-renowned dog trainers such as Tyler Muto and Blake Rodriguez.
By attending online classes and seminars, Otto continues to develop and improve his dog training talents. He belongs to the International Association of Canine Professionals (IACP). Otto currently owns a pack of four dogs, including Oakley, and has been dog training for over a decade.
Mission
Supreme K9’s mission is to assist you and your dog in interacting effectively. This helps dog owners to build strong ties with their pets while also preparing them for real-life situations. They’ve worked with dogs at Supreme K9 to help them learn how to live healthier lives, make intelligent choices, and fit in seamlessly with society. They have assisted dogs in learning how to live better lives, making intelligent choices, and enabling them to function smoothly in their community, from HAPPY-GO-LUCKY canines to the most AGGRESSIVE REHABILITATION CASES.
They offer Private Lessons, which are a fantastic place to start if you want to get a head start with your new dog or need assistance with behavioral concerns. They address a variety of “core” behaviors in Private Lessons and personalize the curriculum to your unique requirements. Before treating any issue behaviors, they always try to establish a language and method of communication. The trainer will manage the dog throughout the sessions, but the aim is for you, the owner, to obtain the skills and information needed to succeed with your dog.
